Mình có đi hội nghị ở Turin (Torino) tháng 09 năm ngoái nên cũng có vài kinh nghiệm chia sẽ với bạn. Turin cũng là 1 thành phố cổ kính của Italy, từng là thủ đô cũ của La mã nên cũng có nhiều công trình kiến trúc như nhiều bảo tàng, lâu đài, nhà thờ. Lúc đó mình ở cái khách sạn Golden Palace Turin gần nhà ga chính (Torino Porta Nuova) nên tất cả các chuyến bus đều về đó (kể cả bus từ sân bay về) nên rất tiện đi lại. Mình thì thích đá banh nên đi xem sân Olimpico & Del Api của Juventus & trụ sở câu lạc bộ, đi ra trung tâm ngắm mấy tòa lâu đài như Palazzo Scaglia di Verrua, Palazzo Falletti di Barolo, Palazzo Cavour, Palazzo Birago di Borgaro, etc. Ko có thời gian vào các bảo tàng trừ 1 ngày ăn tối hội nghị trong đó. Đồ đạc ở Turin cũng khá đa dạng nhưng có lẽ muốn mua sắm thời trang chính hiệu Italy thì nên đón tàu lên Milan (chừng 2 tiếng) thì tha hồ mà mua sắm. Mùa đông năm nay toàn bộ châu Âu đều lạnh, nên cuối tháng 1 ở Turin có thể vẫn từ 0 đến vài độ C thôi, nên nhớ mang đồ mặc ấm. À, mà người Ý ko nói giỏi tiếng Anh nên đôi khi hỏi đường cũng hơi khó. Đúng là ý anh nói em thuê 2 phòng đơn, chung nhau WC và nhà tắm (cho 2 phòng này thôi), bếp thì chung cho cả tầng. Còn ko thì tìm xem có căn hộ nào cho 2 vợ chồng (có thể gửi mail cho ÖAD nhờ tìm giúp). Hồi đó (năm 2002) anh cũng là PhD student và vợ anh ăn theo, vẫn ở được nhà của ÖAD.
Giá 500 Er/tháng chỉ có thể thuê được nhà cũ, có khi ko có đồ đạc và chưa tính điện nước & lò sưởi. Ký túc xá SV là rẻ nhất rồi, vừa có đồ, vừa bao điện nước & sưởi, lại ko phải trả tiền cọc hay tiền môi giới. Em thuê nhà ngoài phải trả tiền cọc khoảng 3 tháng tiền nhà, có khi phải trả tiền môi giới nữa. Như trường hợp vợ chồng em thì xin nhà ÖAD (nhà sinh viên) là rẻ và tiện nhất. Trường Uni Wien thì ko cần phải ở ngay quận 1, em ở Q2 đi cũng rất gần. Em xem link anh đã tư vấn ở đây nhé: (nếu 2 vợ chồng thì thuê phòng đôi hay 2 phòng đơn chung WC), nhà sinh viên là rẻ nhất và có sẵn đồ đạc. Họ có thể viết giấy xác nhận cho thuê nhà để em xin visa mà ko cần phải trả tiền trước (hay chỉ đặt cọc 1 ít), ko lo bị lừa hay bị lấy tiền môi giới. Chính xác là rất khó xin visa sang Áo chỉ với lý do học tiếng Đức. Em phải xin đi đại học hay sau đại học, và học tiếng Đức là điều kiện cần để có thể theo học đại học.

Nhà ở đây có nhiều loại, nhà cũ (altegebäude), nhà nhà nước (gemeide, genosenschaft), nhà tư nhân (privat), nhà công ty cho thuê, nhà sinh viên (Studenteheim). Mỗi loại có giá khác nhau tùy theo diện tích, bao nhiêu phòng, và vị trí (quận 1 thì đắt nhất, các quận ven thì rẻ hơn), có sẵn đồ đạc (möbel) & bếp, lò sưởi trung tâm (zentralheizung) hay lò sưởi điện, gas, có balcone & kho chứa đồ hay ko. Em chỉ hỏi chung chung như vậy thì sao tư vấn cho em được ?
Nếu chồng em có việc ở Vienna thì sao ko nhờ công ty thuê nhà trước để xin visa, rồi qua đây thuê nhà khác sau.

Học bổng của em chắc PhD 3 năm ÖAD khoảng 940 ER / tháng ? hay là học bổng của nhà nước VN? Thật ra thì khéo ăn thì no khéo co thì ấm. Khoảng cỡ 900 ER / tháng thì có thể sống 2 vợ chồng OK nếu ko phải ngày nào cũng đi quán xá :)
Áo là nước quản lý lao động rất chặt chẽ nên chuyện làm thêm là ko tưởng nếu ko có giấy tờ đi làm. Em có học bổng thì quên chuyện đi làm thêm đi nhé. Em có thể bảo lãnh chồng sang nếu em có đủ tiền trong tài khoản (khoảng 10. 000 ER), có học bổng hàng tháng, và có nhà đủ rộng cho 2 người (40 m2).
Em nên sang trước, ổn định chỗ ở, để dành tiền (hoặc mang tiền từ VN sang bỏ vào tài khoản ngân hàng) rồi làm thủ tục bảo lãnh cho chồng. Nếu chồng được trường ĐH nhận vào học thì sẽ dễ bảo lãnh hơn. Chồng em có thể xin học MA nếu trường chấp nhận hồ sơ (thường họ đòi là phải thi đậu đầu vào cao học ở VN hoặc đang theo học chương trình cao học ở VN). Nếu liên hệ được giáo sư nào nhận là tốt nhất vì giáo sư sẽ can thiệp để trường nhận hồ sơ. Ngoài ra, có thể kiếm thêm tí thu nhập bằng cách xin với giáo sư cho làm project nghiên cứu gì đó (dĩ nhiên là nếu giáo sư có thiện chí, và ko ảnh hưởng đến đóng thuế thu nhập vì thu nhập ít hơn mức tối thiểu thì sẽ ko bị đóng thuế).

Họ sẽ làm giấy tờ hợp đồng nhà cho em. Ráng làm thủ tục cho nhanh không thì trể học mất - Bọn Áo này cũng đòi hỏi giấy tờ nhiều lắm, nhất là cái lý lịch tư pháp ấy, còn phải dịch và công chứng 4 cấp nữa. Chúc em may mắn.
Bên này đồ điện tử loại nào cũng có iphone, ipad, macbook, etc. Mới cũng có mà secondhand cũng có. Chất lượng thì tiêu chuẩn châu Âu nhưng đa số made in China như nhiều nơi trên thế giới. Mua mới thì bảo hành 2 năm, secondhand thì bảo hành 6 tháng.
Tuy nhiên, nếu so với Mỹ thì giá ko rẻ đâu vì phải chịu thuế 20% cho dù bạn mua đem về VN, chỉ 1 số cửa hàng miễn thuế thì lại ko có bán nhiều đồ điện tử lắm. Nếu vẫn có ý định mua thì có thể xem ở các cửa hàng điện từ Saturn, Mediamarkt, hay Niedermayer hay các cửa hàng online. Secondhand thì ở One2Sold, MoneyPoint, ebay.
Em mà đi taxi chắc trả hơn 100 ER là cái chắc, vì từ sân bay Treviso về đến trung tâm của Venice đã xa (gần 30km), mà từ trung tâm Venice ra đảo Lido còn phải đường thủy ra nữa (water taxi), ko có đường bộ ra đó đâu.
Tốt nhất & tiết kiệm nhất là đi bằng bus của RyanAir từ Treviso về trung tâm Venice (đến bến Padova railway station), bus này chỉ hoạt động đến 11 giờ đêm nên nếu đến trễ hơn thì phải đi taxi thôi. Hy vọng 9 giờ hạ cánh, lấy hành lý xong thì vẩn kịp đón bus này về Padova railway station.
Bus chạy khoảng 1 tiếng thì đến Padova Station. Ngay đây có 1 bến water bus (Ferrovia (railway station)). Từ đó, mua vé đi water bus (vaporetto) ra đảo Lido, leo lên tuyến Vaporetto Route 1, đến bến Lido leo lên đi bộ về khách sạn mà bạn đã đặt. Water bus (vaporetto) là dịch vụ vận chuyển hành khách công cộng ở Venice nên cũng hoạt động đến 11-12 giờ đêm, còn nếu đến Padova trễ quá thì phải thuê water taxi ra đảo Lido thôi, tiết kiệm được 1 khoảng từ Treviso về Padova Center cũng khá rồi.

Lúc mình có học bổng học PhD thì chỉ có 940 ER/ tháng, vẫn mang vợ sang theo và sinh con được. Đến lúc làm Postdoc thì lương brutto (trước thuế) là 2200 ER sau thuế chỉ còn 1400 ER nghĩa là thấp hơn của chồng bạn bây giờ, nhưng vẫn sống được đấy thôi.
Giá cả bên Đức và Áo nói chung gần ngang nhau (bên Đức rẻ hơn 1 chút), nên với mức 1500 ER netto có thể sống được, dĩ nhiên, ko phải xa hoa nhưng ko đến nỗi quá chật vật. Tuy nhiên mình ko biết ở VN gia đình bạn sống thế nào chứ đã qua đây thì phải tự làm tất cả mọi việc trong nhà (vd nấu ăn, lau nhà, giặt đồ, hút bụi, sửa nước, lau dọn toilet etc) vì thuê nhân công cái gì bên này cũng rất đắt. Nếu chồng bạn ko chuẩn bị tư tưởng là sẽ vất vả thì sẽ ko chấp nhận nổi đâu.
Muốn có vé rẻ thì phải đặt sớm (nghĩa là có kế hoạch trước vài tháng) loại này thì megom ko mua được nữa rồi. Cái này mình đăng ký làm khách hàng, khi nào có đợt action nó gửi email báo cho biết, mình vào xem và đặt vé. Hoặc là chờ đến thật gần cận ngày, hy vọng có ai bỏ hoặc còn trống 1 vài ghế thì mua (gọi là Lastminute ticket), có khi cũng rất rẻ. Loại này thì phải canh hàng giờ, hàng ngày, đổi ngày nọ ngày kia rồi tra giá, thấy giá nào rẻ nhất thì lấy. Mấy văn phòng Restplatz borse ở những ga Karlplatz, Mariahifle cũng chuyên bán những loại vé này, bạn thử ra xem may ra còn vớt vát được. Nó cũng có trang web, nhưng thường thì ko tra giá được như ra văn phòng của nó.
Wien - Frankurt ko đi train nổi đâu, đi máy bay thì OK, tìm của Airberlin hay Nikilauda có khi được giá rẻ như vé train (30 ER/người/lượt), nhưng giờ mua gấp chắc cũng tầm hơn trăm rồi.
Megom thử tìm của Quatar Airway (Qatar Airways - World's 5-star airline) hay China Air (China Airlines) thử xem có vé giá chấp nhận được không chứ mua cận ngày và ngay dịp cao điểm thì khó mà có giá rẻ. Mình mua cách nay 5 tháng của Qatarairway Wien - Quatar - SGN vé lúc action là 780 ER người lớn, con nít trên 2 tuổi = 75%.
Có người quen mới mua của China Air khoảng hơn 1 tháng trước Wien - Teipei - SGN cũng khoảng 760 ER cho người lớn, con nít > 2 tuổi cũng 75%.
Tìm và mua trực tiếp online trên trang chủ của từng hãng, ko qua văn phòng nào cả.
Mình có đi hội nghị ở Turin (Torino) tháng 09 năm ngoái nên cũng có vài kinh nghiệm chia sẽ với bạn.
Turin cũng là 1 thành phố cổ kính của Italy, từng là thủ đô cũ của La mã nên cũng có nhiều công trình kiến trúc như nhiều bảo tàng, lâu đài, nhà thờ. Có thể tham khảo ở đây để biết nên đi đâu:

Phương tiện đi lại bên Turin là xe buýt, xe điện (nổi) và xe điện ngầm, dĩ nhiên là có cả taxi (đắt hơn những loại kia). Bạn nên mua vé cả ngày thì rẻ hơn là vé 1 chặng. Hỏi khách sạn cái bản đồ, mua vé công cộng rồi đi. Lúc đó mình ở cái khách sạn Golden Palace Turin gần nhà ga chính (Torino Porta Nuova) nên tất cả các chuyến bus đều về đó (kể cả bus từ sân bay về) nên rất tiện đi lại.
Mình thì thích đá banh nên đi xem sân Olimpico & Del Api của Juventus & trụ sở câu lạc bộ, đi ra trung tâm ngắm mấy tòa lâu đài như Palazzo Scaglia di Verrua, Palazzo Falletti di Barolo, Palazzo Cavour, Palazzo Birago di Borgaro, etc. Ko có thời gian vào các bảo tàng trừ 1 ngày ăn tối hội nghị trong đó.
Đồ đạc ở Turin cũng khá đa dạng nhưng có lẽ muốn mua sắm thời trang chính hiệu Italy thì nên đón tàu lên Milan (chừng 2 tiếng) thì tha hồ mà mua sắm.
Mùa đông năm nay toàn bộ châu Âu đều lạnh, nên cuối tháng 1 ở Turin có thể vẫn từ 0 đến vài độ C thôi, nên nhớ mang đồ mặc ấm. À, mà người Ý ko nói giỏi tiếng Anh nên đôi khi hỏi đường cũng hơi khó.

À, cái giày len đó đi tuyết sẽ bị ướt vào trong, ko xài được đâu, chỉ xài khi trời hơi lạnh lạnh như mùa xuân, thu hay đầu đông thôi.
Hồi 2002 mình thì đi học ở Vienna bằng học bổng toàn phần của chính phù Áo, ko dính gì đến VN hết, họ cho 940 ER/tháng và sẽ cấp ngay khi vừa sang đến nơi. Nên hồi đó mình đi học mà chỉ đem có 200 ER dằn túi vì biết chắc là vừa sang thì sẽ nhận được học bổng ngay.
Bạn hỏi mà ko nói rõ Ba Lan cấp kinh phí đào tạo bao nhiêu 1 tháng, rồi VN cấp bù sinh hoạt phí bao nhiêu 1 tháng và khi nào thì nhận, nhận 1 lần 1 cục hay là nhận từng tháng ? Nói chung, khoảng 800 - 900 ER / tháng thì đủ cho chi phí ăn ở, sinh sống thoải mái 1 mình bên Áo, Ba Lan rẻ hơn nên khoảng 700-800 ER / tháng là mức tối thiểu. Từ mức này mà bạn tính là đem thêm bao nhiêu (sau khi biết rõ học bổng họ cấp cho là bao nhiêu và nhận ngay khi mới sang hay khi nào thì nhận).
Cả 2 trang đều có tiếng Anh hết mà em. Anh xem thì thấy họ đòi phải đạt IELST > 6.5 chứ có thấy đòi đang học đại học đâu. Tốt nhất là gửi mail hay gọi điện thoại hỏi trực tiếp.

Copenhagen Hospitality College is one of Europe's largest vocational colleges within the hotel and restaurant field. The College offers programmes and courses at all levels within the kitchen and restaurant business.
Copenhagen Hospitality College was founded in 1922. It is situated in Københavns Kødby, home to most of the catering programmes and at Gråbrødre Torv where the College is headquartered and home to most of the academy programmes.
The College covers more than 25,000 square meters comprising approx. 20 fully equipped kitchens, seven restaurants as well as cafés, internet cafés, libraries, class rooms, auditoriums and offices.
There are more than 6,000 apprentices, students, and course participants registered each year. That means that approx. 1,400 apprentices attend the College every day.

Programmes
Vocational programmes
Copenhagen Hospitality College offers the following vocational programmes:
Waiter/waitress, chef, sandwichmaker, cater, receptionist, and nutrition assistant.
The programmes begin with an individually planned foundation course. After that, the students choose which programme they wish to attend. In total, the programmes last from 2½ years to 4 years.
Acceptance to one of the vocational programmes at the College is conditioned on the ability to read, write, and understand Danish.

Short Further Education
The AP Programme in Hospitality and Tourism Management is a middle-management programme with an international focus. The College have many foreign as well as Danish students who focus on an international career.

Further Education
Copenhagen Hospitality College offers the new further education Academy Gastronome. Academy Gastronome is an education that focuses on the relations between culture and gastronomy for people in the business wanting to work with developing the meal.
The College also offers a number of management courses.
The educations are only available in Danish.
Courses
Copenhagen Hospitality College is an active player in the adult education and retraining field. The College is the largest vocational College in Northern Europe and has as so built a strong specialist and educational competence.
Through close interaction with the industry, the College plans retraining and competence development for employees to equip them in the best possible way to handle challenges on the labour market.
All courses are held in Danish in accordance with the Danish Act on Labour Market Training. However, the College is willing to plan in foreign language courses outside the scope of the act on labour market training.

Quality assurance
Programmes and courses at the College are regularly evaluated. That is a part of the Danish Ministry of Education's requirements for transparency on the Danish educational system and is a quality assurance of said system.
Adventure
Adventure is the department for international student counselling. The College arranges traineeships for students in a number of countries and functions as a employment agency for fully trained people who are interested in jobs abroad.
